KATRINA PENMAN

FLUTIST, COMPOSER

Katrina Penman is a British flutist, composer and arranger based in Spain. She studied at the Royal College of Music and later continued her training in Italy, including studies at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan. She works as a performer in a wide range of projects, from chamber music and orchestral collaborations to contemporary and interdisciplinary initiatives across Europe.

Alongside performing, Katrina is an active composer and arranger, creating music mainly for flute and chamber ensembles. Her works have been performed and premiered internationally and have received several international awards. She is also involved in teaching and educational activities, giving masterclasses and collaborating on creative projects that connect performance, composition and artistic research.
