Júlia Gállego is one of Spain’s leading flautists with an outstanding international career. She studied in Alicante and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSM), and has established herself as a distinguished soloist, chamber musician, and principal flute with some of Europe’s most renowned orchestras. She has served as Principal Flute of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the Galicia Symphony Orchestra, and is currently a member of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, as well as co-founder and principal flute of bandArt.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with internationally acclaimed orchestras and conductors while combining an active performing schedule with teaching. Since 2006, she has been Professor of Flute at both the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) and the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona.

Alongside her artistic and educational work, Júlia is also trained in Kundalini Yoga and Sacred Aromatherapy. She is the creator of SomaKardioEnergeia in Harmonia, a holistic programme for musicians that integrates physical, mental, and artistic well-being, helping performers achieve greater balance and fulfilment in their musical lives.

Location & Logistics

Our programs are held in Cadavedo, a charming coastal village in Asturias, northern Spain.

Closest airports to Cadavedo:

  • Asturias Airport (OVD) – approx. 25–30 minutes by car.

  • Santander Airport (SDR) – approx. 2.5 hours by car.

  • Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ) – approx. 2 h 30 min by car.

  • Bilbao Airport (BIO) – approx. 3 hours by car

  • Madrid (Barajas / Adolfo Suárez Madrid‑Barajas Airport) – approx. 4 h 50 min by car.

How to get here:
By car: The most flexible option, ideal if you wish to explore the area before or after the retreat.
By train or bus: There are connections from Oviedo, Gijón, Santander, and Bilbao. We can assist you with schedules and routes.
By shared transfer or taxi: Let us know your arrival details, and we can help coordinate shared rides between participants whenever possible.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Reservation

  • A 30% deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.

  • This deposit is non-refundable, but transferable to another Winds&Flow retreat or to another person, within 15 months of the original retreat date.

Final payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid 2 months before the retreat begins.

  • If you register less than 2 months in advance, the full amount is due upon booking.

If you cancel

  • If you cancel more than 2 months before the retreat:
    → You only lose the deposit (non-refundable but transferable).
    → You are not required to pay the remaining balance.

  • If you cancel 2 months or less before the retreat:
    No refunds will be issued.
    → The deposit remains transferable for up to 12 months.

We are not responsible for any costs incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as flights, visas or insurance.

If we cancel

If Winds&Flow cancels the retreat for any reason, 100% of all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded.

Arrival & Departure

– Please plan to arrive by the afternoon on Day 1 (we’ll share the exact time once your place is confirmed).
– The activity finishes around midday on the final day.

Once your spot is confirmed, we’ll send you the exact location details, along with a packing list and preparation tips.

If you’re traveling from abroad, we recommend arriving in Spain 1 or 2 days earlier to settle in and reach Asturias feeling relaxed and ready for the experience.
