FERNANDO SANTIRSO
PIANO
In 2012, he graduated with highest honors in Piano Performance under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue Francisco Jaime Pantín. He was later admitted to the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, where he completed a Master’s degree in Piano Performance with Prof. Bernhard Wetz. During this time, he also studied chamber music with Prof. Angelika Merkle and accompaniment with Prof. Eugen Wangler.
Alongside his formal studies, he received guidance from distinguished teachers such as José Ramón Méndez (New York University), Josep Colom and Julian Martin (The Juilliard School), among others.
He has performed recitals as a soloist, collaborated with orchestras and ensembles and worked with conductors such as Günther Albers. However, his main artistic focus has been chamber music, playing with various groups in Spain, Germany and Switzerland. Since 2020, he has worked as a Piano Accompanist at the Conservatory of the Principality of Asturias.
